In 2007, Hamera moved from Lecturing in Law and Criminology at post 16 Level to try her hand at Recruitment, bringing her teaching expertise to implement policies and procedures for the company. However, she found that she enjoyed working with people, helping them, and that she thrived on positive feedback.
She grew her clientele via many referrals, and personal recommendation.
With 10 years of recruitment experience, working in the Healthcare sector with professional and qualified nurses and locum doctors, Hannah will ensure that she continues to give her highest levels of dedication and commitment to her customers and staff.
Cameron Kay - Candidate Manager
Cameron is the on call coordinator for 24hr Healthcare
Cameron completed a Ba Hons in Architecture in 2005, and after working for various practices, he soon realised he was more of a people person. He started working in the Health and Social care sector in 2007. After gaining experience in these fields, Cameron joined 24hr Healthcare in 2009. With a keen eye for detail, Cameron is thrilled to be using his knowledge and experience to help bring a caring quality service to the vulnerable in our society who have little or no voice, and to be recruiting the best people possible to deliver an outstanding service to those in need.
Symon Khan - Operations - Nationwide
Symon joined the company in 2010. As Operations Director, he has helped the company to experience tremendous growth. Symon is involved in every part of 24hr Healthcare's business, whether it is account management, customer service, sales, finance or developing the overall business strategies.
Symon has gained experience working in a wide range of roles in hospitals, care homes and other healthcare environments within both the NHS and the private sector. Roles have included Critical Care Nurse - adult and children, Clinical Manager, Head of Care & Quality and Distance Learning Tutor.
In his previous roles Symon gained experience and full working knowledge of the NHS contract regarding compliance, work experience and health requirements. Meeting these requirements ensures that staff are appropriately selected for shifts requested and will not pose a threat to patient safety.
Symon has a professional but friendly approach with emphasis placed on customer care. Symon is extremely excited to be part of a team within a progressive and expanding company.
Aimee Burns - Compliance officer - Yorkshire
Aimee joined 24hr Healthcare in January 2015 as an apprentice to expand the already growing business across the UK due to wanting to return to an office environment. Aimee has a vast amount of experience with compliance and audits, with her knowledge and experience she ensures that she has everything in place with the candidates prior to booking.
Leena Gulzar - Trainee Recruitment Consultant
As a trainee, Leena has previous experience in customer service. Leena is currently working as a trainee coordinator, working on a daily basis with staff and customers to ensure the smooth running of the fulfilment of customer requirements, with transparency throughout.
Anna Romana - Accounts Team - Yorkshire
With a Polish background, Anna moved to the United Kingdom with her family in 2007. Already from a caring background, Anna gained a wealth of experience in care, and with her skills she joined 24hr healthcare in 2015. She swiftly developed a skill for figures, and after working for a care provider in the office Anna quickly realised that accounting and finance came naturally to her. Anna worked her way up to the accounts manager of the Bradford branch. Our staff now also benefit from her multilingual skills.
Laura Donavan - Manager
Joining the team in 2013 as a Recruitment Consultant, Laura quickly worked her way up to the senior team. Laura came to 24hr Healthcare with over 12 years of experience working within a range of services in the Health & Social Care sector, including housing support, outreach support work and primary care navigation. Laura’s roles have involved supporting clients with mental health and complex health conditions, to access health, social care and voluntary services to help manage their health conditions and live independently within their local communities.
Bianca Heap - Compliance Officer, Lancashire
Jordan Cassidy - Company Secretary
Jordan became part of the staff of 24hr Healthcare in 2012 as a business administration apprentice, finishing his apprenticeship in late 2012, and was kept on permanently, becoming the new Company Secretary.
